ACB Cartography is run by Alexander Bridge BSC(Hons) Mapping & Cartography (Oxford Brookes University).
A cartographer since he qualified in 2003, Alex has worked on many projects and contracts, ranging from extensive jobs such as co-authoring the Atlas of Vernacular Architecture of The World, to everyday mapping tasks such as performing updates on street maps and road atlases (AA, Philip’s etc). Alex has also taught cartography at the Royal School of Military Survey as well as serving on the panel for the annual British Cartographic Society awards.
Having used maps extensively as a qualified Mountain Leader and taught navigation as a Senior Instructor, Alex combines this experience with an understanding of the cartographic principles, aiming to create maps for businesses and organisations that focus accurately on each map’s specific, individual purpose.
